Heating
The cottage has storage heaters and
in winter will need to be turned on when you
arrive. There's a switch beside each heater, when the economy 7 tariff
is on
(midnight to 7am) the heaters will
charge and give off their heat during
the day and following evening. Each heater has an input and output
dial. I
usually turn them both fully clock wise to maximise the overnight
charge
and subsequent heat output. The switch for the immersion heater
is on the
outside wall of the bathroom. It has an electonic time that again takes
advantage
of the economy 7 cheaper tariff, there's also a boost option that heats
water
at any time. The electric shower heats water on demand and can be used
without hot water in the system.
When you leave the cottage can you
please knock off all the heaters and
immersion timer switch if used.

electric wood burner.
