To
reserve the
Property, the client should complete the booking
form and return it together with the non-refundable deposit of
£100.
Following the receipt of the booking form and
deposit, the owner will
send a confirmation of the booking.
Arrival time after
4:00pm on Saturday. Departure time before
11:00am on following Saturday.
A maximum of 5 people
per booking are allowed.
A security deposit of
£50.00 in respect of the rental
period
is required. Any breakages, damage or loss caused to the property or
its contents during the rental period may cause the forfeit of some or
the entire security deposit.
The property must be
left in a clean and tidy state at the
end of the rental period otherwise a cleaning charge will be incurred
and invoiced to you. Should the property be left in such a
state
and condition that it is unsuitable for occupation by another hirer
then you will be liable for the charges as shown on the rent schedule
of accommodation for the period until it is again suitable for use.
The balance of the
rental, together with the security deposit
is payable not less than eight weeks of the beginning of the holiday.
In the event of a
cancellation refunds will be made if the
owners are able to re-let the property.
If the balance payment
is not received eight weeks prior to
the beginning of the holiday a reminder will be sent. If the balance
remains unpaid after seven days the booking will be cancelled, the
deposit will not be refunded and the property will be available for
others to let.
Guests are strongly
recommended to arrange a comprehensive
travel insurance policy including cancellation cover and to have full
cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc. as
these are not covered by the owner's insurance.
The property must be
locked at night and whenever unattended.
The rental period will
commence at 4pm on the first day
and finish at 11am on the last day. Changeover day is Saturday.
The client is expected
to be a considerate tenant and to take
care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at
the end of the rental period.
The
rental of the
property includes all the bed linen. Please bring towels and T
towels that are not included.
A reasonable electrical usage is also included. The charging
of electrical vehicles is fine but if the usage exceeds 20kWH per day a
charge for the excess maybe requested. If EVs are being charged please
can they be done over night during the economy 7 period where
electricty rates are much cheaper.
The client must report
any defects to the property or
breakdown in the equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the
property or garden. Arrangements for the repair or replacement
will be made as soon as possible.
The owner shall not be
liable to the client for -
(i ) any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services
either to the property or in respect of any equipment, machinery or
appliances in the property of garden.
(ii) any loss , damage or injury which is a result of adverse weather
conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the owner's
control.
(iii) any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the
client if the property is destroyed or subsequently damaged before the
start of the rental period.
Should the property
become unavailable due to unforeseen
circumstances, a full refund will be made.
It is the responsibility
of the client that all due care and
diligence is maintained around the river section of the
property.
Internet
access (wi-fi) is available
- unlimited data transfer.
Landline telephone usage is
no longer available.
At no time is smoking
permitted within the property. Should there be evidence of smoking then
a surcharge will be made for additional cleaning.
The furnishings must
remain in their original position within
the property.
Pets are welcome at the
cottage but please can owners not let
their dog foul in the garden. Should there be evidence of dog
mess
a surcharge will be made for removal. Please do not leave animals
unattended in the garden or house. Please do not allow dogs upstairs in
the carpeted areas or on the beds.
Guests are responsible for managing the recycling of
waste and household rubbish. Clean tins, glass bottles and solid
plastic are the only items recycled and need to be put in the green
wheelie bin. Any other waste needs to be bagged and put in the black
wheelie bin. Collection is once fortnighlty for both bins, household on
Wednesday and recycled on Thursday. Please put bagged dog waste in the
household bin.
On arrival the client
must report if the cottage is not found
in a clean & tidy condition so that arrangements can be made to
rectify the problem as soon as possible.
